I was wondering if anyone uses Abu Garcia rods? If so which ones and what do you think?

I have a 6'6 medium action Veritas spinning rod. I like it. I use it for shakey heads. Caught a few on it today. Sensitive and light.

the cheap ones are that price for a reason.. do you have a specific model in mind? Not true, just your opinion. NEVER had a prolem with any of the ABU's.

The Veritas line is pretty sweet. Vendettas are nice too.
Don't count them out because they're "Cheap"... There's not a whole lot of difference between that 100 dollar Veritas and my 160 dollar Falcons...

Caught over 100 fish at Sandlin and Brandy Branch in the last 3 weeks all on Veritas Rods. I had one rod tip eye pop out when I was pushing a crankbait off of a log with it. They have performed very well and I caught multiple fish from 4-7.5 lbs with no issues at all. So far...they get a BIG thumbs up from me. (I also have very expensive custom rods, Kistlers, Dobyns, G Loomis, etc and they perform no better than the Veritas do IMHO)

I have 3 Vendettas and couldn't be more pleased. Even their Vengence is a decent rod. Do note that they run stiffer than what it is rated...ie-a MH is leaning towards more of a Heavy feel. Not an issue if you can actually handle them but it makes a difference in a mail order choice.
