Well, it was a great morning of fishing, the crappie were biting, the scenery was beautiful with trees in full color, and cold crisp fall air in place! This is my favorite time of year, for many reasons...deer season is open, the fishing is excellent, and it is cool outside! What more can a man ask for! All these slabs were caught today on bridges 14-16 ft. deep, and brush in 18-20 ft. of water on jigs! Most all the fish were caught on the new bobby garland split tail "minnow mind'rs", with NO Minnow of course, but we caught a few on blue / chart. rocky top super slabs, and my custom pours! Water temp is now 59 degrees and the fish are making there way toward the deep water near the dam. We got off the water about 11:45 with 37 nice keepers! Here are the pics ...Enjoy!
