Have you seen a doctor? If so,seek his advice. When in doubt, get the shot or a booster. Why take chances on something that serious?

I was the one who started the other post. The doctor DID give me a tenenus. However my last Tetnus( or however you spell it) was when I was about 14 years old or so. If its been quite a few years, it wouldn't hurt anything to get one or to at least ask the doctor about it.

go to a doctor man, it's not worth it, I just had my tetnaus shot since my doctor knows I go hunting and fishing a lot he said let's not take a chance. I promise you the shot is not nearly as painfull as what could happen if you are not protected.

well i recently was fishing in a small pond behind my house when i caught a very large cat on none other than a hoola popper and when i got him in i got stabed in the hand trying to release him! well i had remembered reading about how you should rub the wound on the belly of the catfish and i did.
needless to say the wound stopped stinging in about 3 minutes and healed before the day was over! thanx fofr the info whoever it was that posted it!
