Thanks for making the calls.

You know, I was in Wichita KS for three weeks and searching for a guide. Finally found one and he didn't show up. Never did get to go fishing.

Here's an update on Ron.

After our outing on the Trinity, he took a nap and woke up coughing his lungs out. He was to have his dyalisis on Saturday down in Galviston which of course didn't happen, but his Dr. said he would be good until Tuesday.

However, Monday night was so bad that he made the trip to Dallas by ambulance. Pnemoia in both lungs.

Sooo...he's having an extended stay at a Dallas hospital for 3 to 5 days more.

I talked with him this morning and he sounded much better and was in a chipper mood....and still talking about his two bigguns!!

Sorry to hear about his unscheduled visit but glad to hear he's feeling better.

Darn Terry hate to hear Ron is so sick,,, prayers he'll be getting better real soon, and back on the water,,, you know for everyday spent fishing,, the Lord will give you an extra week to live,,he was a fisherman too,,,,,good luck ,,,,good medicines,, and good fishing for Ron,,,,

You know ,, I think I'm gonna have to try that fishing one of these days,, will have to get me one of them good Zebco 202's or some good reeler ,, and wonder if ya could duct tape that reel on a cane pole,,,, I mean for like that catfish Ron caught,,,,,,,

Well Chilitex, if you can book Tommy as a guide...I think you'll do well.

Ron had a replica made of his 140 pound gar. After spending about a year at Everts Fishing Resorts bait shop on display, it's now at his home.

What about his 72 pound Blue that Tommy guided us to you ask?

Again, I want to thank Tommy and the rest of you TFF guys that helped us out two years ago. Ron and I talked many times about this truly once in a life time trip.

Ron left us a few months back. Ron left as a husband, fisherman, as a first class guy and an unbelievable friend.

Each time my boat pulls away from the dock I have two extra passengers. My Dad and Ron, two of the best friends a person could have.

Fish in Peace Ron.

Brian, Im so sorry to hear about Ron,what a class Man. I remember that trip like it was yesterday. I ran those verry same spots and did the exact thing, we did the day we fished together. About a month ago,and I told my cliants about Ron and yourself.

Lost my dad june 25th. mabey him and ron are up there talkin trophy blue cats?
