With the water down, I looked at a place today that I caught fish off of back in the spring with a slip bobber in about 3 ft of water. At the time I thought it was some old weeds under water. I now know it was 4 stumps all wadded up together. I think Im gonna call it the sh#t load hole. Cause I caught a sh#t load off of it.

I was gonna suggest that maybe you guys were looking for em too deep! Up here in the metroplex, been catching em in as little as 3-4 ft of water. remember, where the shad go, in the autumn before first frost, so goeth the crappie!
