I passed by today and the bubbles were not blowing. What is going on? That is sure place for bait fish and sandies. When will it be back on?

They turn them off from time to time. It kind of handicaps you a little, keeps you from taking time to learn that lake. There are a lot of good places to catch sandies on Grapevine.

can you give me some leads? You can PM me if needed. My luck with grapevine is either chasing the bird or at the aerator. Have no luck anywhere else. Tried twincove several time with no luck. thanks

The bubbles were turned off last year mid-November, and then came back on in the spring sometime, don't remember exactly when.

I think it is a budget thing....they used to run it year round...but now they turn it off during the winter when stratification is no longer a problem.
