How do I eliminate line twist when jigging slabs. Any advice would be greatley appreciated. Also if any one knows where I can get some mepps lures would be helpful thanks.

Tie a swivel above your slab, I usually tie one in line about 18 inches above the slab.

Check out the fishing reports from Cedar Creek, Dennis Christian is the mepps guru.

I tie directly to my line, and I have no issues.
You sure you're not trolling with it, cause that could be a
situation.

All you are doing is raising it up and down I don't know
how it could twist that bad. I use braid, maybe that's the difference.

I guess do what gene said use a swivel. See if that helps.

Just FYI I was at Wally world and they had mepps
with hair and feathers on them, but all u have to do is
cut them off.
Dennis uses mepps with nothing but spinner blade and hook!

Couldn't be much
it's a treble hook and a spinner.

Are you using a spinning reel? They are alot more prone to line twist. I use a swivle on mine.
I picked up my mepps at Academy.
