has anyone fished at richland? some friends and i have been fishing there since august havnt caught very many the largest prob around 2lbs. "Largemouth" and the other day a kid from school shows me a picture of a basss he caught there his first time prob in the 5 lb range while using worms. i dont usually use live bait is there any way i could consintrate on catching the bigger fish rather than the dinks?

catch some live sufish and throw them out with a bobber and see whats swimming out there.....

I have caught fish there from 3-5 lbs as well. That was back when I was a student there....

I've fished there a handful of times...but haven't had much luck myself. I know there are big bass in there, but it can be a real challenge to get bites.

heard there are some pretty big catfish stuck under the overspill int he middle of the campus. Doubt you can fish it though. I've seen lots of bass swimming along the banks while walking to class several years ago.

Fished there last Saturday, no bites, didn't stay long.
Fished the pond at Churchill and Merit early morning, caught 12 but none over 2 lbs. Darndest pond I have ever fished, not much for them to eat so they leap clean out of the water chasing dragon flies.
