Anyone finding many shad on RH lately? The last couple of Saturday mornings before sunrise I've been shut out finding them. I've thrown at Winsurf Park, at the ramp at the north end of Zion, and Dalrock Park. Don't know if all the recent rain has them deep or what. I usually have good luck finding them at Windsurf Park a half hour before sunrise, about 0-10 feet from the bank when there's a good wind out of the south blowing them to the bank. But not yet this year.

Anywhere there is a bridge you can normally find bait. Rowlett road is where i would try. Park at the park and walk down to the opening under the bridge, and throw out towards the pillars.

I got very few yesterday morning at the Zion ramp, but netted quite a few once I was out on the water in the shallows to the South of the ramp and about 30 feet out from shore. What Curtis says sounds right, I drive over that bridge early in the mornings and there are few mornings that people aren't down there throwing cast nets...
