Thinking about picking one up. Din't know if it was worth the $130. I have other reels for far less that I like. Any opinions on the Shimano? Thanks, Chris ....looked at the price wrong..more like $160..

Great reels in my opinion. Have one super tuned and you will be totally amazed, at least I was and still am. First cast in my back yard after super tuning and I was down to the backing and then some.

At least my boat and truck are paid for, woo hoo!

I've owned one for about 6 months and have been very happy with it. MUCH better than my Citica. I just bought a Revo SX that I havent used and am interested to compare the two.

Great reels. Have several of them. I think you'll be happy with your purchase.

Have been using 3 of them for the last year 1/2 on gold carrot stix, love them and the combo is the lightest most sensitive outfits I ever owned. The 200e7s are as smooth as the day I bought them.

"Late4lake" here on the forum (thetacklesmith.com)supertunes, upgrades, and I think has someone who even paints reels. He can also put in some upgraded ceramic bearings which I have had him do to a couple of my older Shimanos...you can have more in the upgrades than you have in the cost of the reel if you get carried away.

man i have 5 of them and i love em. probably one of the best reels that i have used for the money. 130 is fairly inexspensive when it comes to fishing gear. good luck with them.

a bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work!!

If your getting it new for $130, that is a smoking deal. They are great reels and you will like them. I have some old 200B's, 200DPV's and a ton of E7's and E5's and like the E models the best.

Pull the trigger on it.

Wow, $130, I was gonna find out where you were getting them! $160 is more like it. I won a 200E5 in a tournament drawing and honestly, I was a Revo man before that, and still love the Revo, but my next purchase will be another Curado 200E5 or E7. I can cast baits extremely well with the Curado that I can't do so well with the Revo.
