I have been reading here for a while and searched around.
I found a few reports of people fishing in the 635/ Luna Area..

Are the fish taken from this area safe to eat?

It would seem to me the pollution from the Highways and Office Complexes would ruin it but?....

I work right here and could basically walk over and throw a line in.

Will I loose an eye or my hair start falling out if I eat from this water?

Thanks!

Trey

the only part of the Trinity that is polluted for fish consumption is the West Fork from FT Worth that runs through the heart of Dallas and south to Houston. The East Fork and Elm Fork are fine. Elm Fork is Lake Lewisville Dam release. East Fork is dam release from Lavon and Ray HUbbard.

My fish is bigger than yours!

Nah, if you even try to catch fish in this area, first your nose will stop up, then your head will spin, your skin will turn purple, you will see spots before your eyes, your body hair, if you have any, will start trimming itself, and your pp might even fall off!

Stay away! DANGER, WILL ROBINSON!!!

Find fishing areas in other parts of the county!

Take it from one who has been diagnosed by a TFF'er as one who is on his "final Death Tour", as he swears i will be dead by 60, due to fish from the Fabled and Fabulous Elm Fork, among other places. BUT, if he's right, VENGANCE IS MINE! I will come back and haunt him!

It depends on where you are talking exactly. There is some contaminated waters over there I've heard locally and on here a long time ago. It wasn't the river though, it was that place right off of 635 I believe.
