Tawakoni gave up some nice fish yesterday fishing with Stripaholic. Stopped by some lighted docks before light, and caught some nice hybrids before catching some live bait. Bait was a little tought to get. After catching bait, made a stop and caught some really nice hybrids up to 9 lbs on a hump out in the middle of the lake. Moved around and caught a few more at different spots. Came back later to the early hump spot, and using a charturse swim bait, started nailing the big hybrids, and a few stripers mixed in. I kept a few for the freezer, and released a lot. Had a great day Trent.

The hybrids there were really fat and healthy. They were putting up an unbelieveable fight yesterday.

That would be nice to post a video of that fight on here.

Tawakoni toads with Tawakoni Trent. One of the best combinations an angler can expect any time of the year. With all of the huplah and chest beating , Trent remains deliberate and constant in putting people on quality or quantities of fish, nice job Trent , masterfully done as usual!

Thanks guys. Enjoyed it CD. Some days everything works, others you gotta figure out what they want. Friday 5" sassys on a http://www.sbt4u.com/Jig-Heads/3D-Shad-Jig-Head-p9.html worked just as well as live. Then yesterday they wouldn't touch a sassy and liveys were the ticket. http://www.tntslabs.com/TNT180.htm is another bait you need to have rigged and ready. Water temps are dipping into the upper 50's now in the morning and warming up to the mid 60's in the afternoon. These temps are perfect for a great fight. The fight they have in them now will not get any better.

Folks the fall bite has been very good this year with limits of hybs to 8lbs. the norm. Friday we had NW winds 15-20... it didn't matter, in fact it just turned them on. Other days no wind and bright skys...maybe not fast and furious but still limits of 5-7 lb hybs with a 8-9 lb pig or 2 to top it off. Deadsticking season is approaching. It might be a good idea to have that light rig with ya but for now keep chunking those big sassys, slow your presentation a bit, and have those binocs handy.
