Sadly I have to miss it. Dad just got put into the hospital for a infection. Was looking forward to the seminar and have a $50 BPS gift certificate to spend. You boys have fun.

Always next time.... Today, the convention they had, stole my big screen TV and "all" the chairs. Had a pretty good turn out with 40+ peeps or so. Again, if you have questions about what I spoke about, contact me and Ill let you know what you need to know.

Hey, Carey! Great job at BPS today. We all learned a lot. I do have a question for you, though. I have been fishing off the boat ramp walkway at Pecan Creek. I almost always catch bass but my fish of choice is crappie. Can you catch them fishing off something like that? I'm not sure if there is any structure I could fish around.

It was nice to meet you today, Carey!
It's obvious that you have a real passion for this sport, and it comes out in a real positive and energetic way. I had a blast!

didnt see this post in time, or i would have attended. Carey, can you recommend some areas in DFW for barge/dock/creek/bank fishing. I do not have a boat, so i am limited to bank / dock fishing etc. I have tried the barge at lynnn creek marina @ joe pool, and caught a few keepers. Thanks for any light you can shed on the subject.

There is a pond down at hwy 287 & 67 the opposite side of 67 from the Walmart and behind the residential area. That pond holds some Crappie.

Rowlett Creek, White Rock Creek ---both banks fishing/

Elm Fork and East Fork --- bank fishing the whole river systems hold fish, bank or boat.

Hickory Creek--- boat or bank

Bachman Lake--- bank or boat
