Pops and I are coming down from dfw to fish. It's either come sat morning or Friday evening. Are there any good nightfishing spots there. I have fished in Freeport and aransas at night but not Galveston. And what's biting this week 11-5-10

Not sure where you plan on fishing but there is a couple of guys near Galveston that make custom fishing light set ups that have brought us some nice luck the last few weeks. My buddy bought a set from them and they are really high powered spot lights( 2000 watt I think), they use some type of quartzine bulb that that is similar to a halogen but has a different hue of light? All I know is since using them we have been doing much better than usual and they are really cool looking, the ones my buddy bought go either into a stand or into the receiver on his truck. (they have a nifty hitch welded on them) I will see if I can find their number and shoot it back if you want to check em out. I do know their name is great white lights (or lighting). Nice guys and cool products. And dang cheap in comparison to everything I have seen online! -Stephen

if its pier fishing you want at night there is sea wolf park. i think. i have heard that they will not be open at night after a certain date. the 61st pier is open 24 hours 7 days a week. you can always call and check both places before you come down.

Thanx. Been surf fishing at night in Freeport it was good. Lanterns worked on the canal side and moonlight on the surf side. I'll check the piers.
