I have seen that metal bar sold for years,
I bought one last year. It works. It has
been a long time since I took chemistry, but
if I remember correctly, some metals act
as a catalyst to start a reaction. This would
explain Sharons faucet rubbing technique.
I dont know if it will take out stink bait
odor , but it does a great job of killing the sweet smell of success that comes from
cleaning a mess of fish.

I just tried rubbing my hands on my faucet and it worked! No more punch bait smell. Now if I could just figure out how to get my boat in the kitchen.........  Thanks for the tip! [This message has been edited by shawn (edited 11-30-2002).]

Just install a sink in your boat.  That way you also have water if you get thirsty! GOOD LUCK & TIGHT LINES!
