Hey guys need some help. Where in the FortWorth area would you suggest I have the boat winterized. In the past I've done it myself, however with a newer boat and all the electronics on the motor, figured I'd let someone else do it. Last year the boat was done in fork area. Been callin around for prices and the difference is pretty muched tripeled. Just Fyi by winterize I mean: drain, plugs removed, new water pump, fluid changed, gears lubed, motor fogged. Place closest to me quoted near $700.00. Thanks in advance for your time. Some of the guys on the open freshwater forum suggested spanky, any others yall think of or have used?

I wouldn't do it in Texas, because cold weather is some of the best fishing of the year. Bass stack up deep, crappie in stacks, sandys and hybrids stacked up, catfish stacked, find um and catch um!

Didn't plan on doing it for a little while, for just that reason. Plan was sometime in December than back out Feb or March. Thought since I was only going to store it for a short while might as well knock out the impeller. Have decided to heed he advice and wait till spring.
Thanks for the offer Big 21, found a guy very close here who is more resonable and a fisherman to boot. You on the OK side of texoma? notice the area code is the same as ardmore.
I just wanted to be cautious in the event we had a repeat winter. Thanks again guys for all the input, knew yall would come through for me...imagine the world if we were all fisherman!
