The fishing is great right now on Grapevine! It may be hard to believe but you can stay close to the metroplex and fill your freezer pretty quickly. The birds are working somewhere along the south shore almost every morning and the White Bass will take slabs or swim baits easily. After the birds stop working the fish are moving to the closest structure and staging up so finishing up a limit is not hard. Crappie seem to be good on jigs in 15 - 16 feet of water and catfish are going nuts right now. I fish for all three species and have been know to fish for two different ones in the same trip. The water is pretty stained but the fish don't seem to mind. The water temperature is in the mid to high 60's. I have dates open and available and I am still running the $200 for a half day for up to 4 people during the week, I clean the fish for that price too! If some of you want to get together and split a trip that would be great. I have one guy looking for partners. Here is a recent pic of a trip with Don and some friends. I have nothing better to do it seems than to scout the lake if I don't have a trip! Tough job but someone has to do it! LOL

I only wear those when it is warm and you said you wouldn't pick on me about those shoes anymore!
It was fun, 100 Sandies in 3 hours and we were being picky!

Your killin me Omar, I had planned on hitting the Vine this weekend but found out about an hour ago I have to work both days.  Nice report.

I made a special appearance on the ol Lake last Sunday and tore them up too. Brought back some old memories.
