Try all the regulars like Clay and Randy Routh first. I guide at Whitney, Granbury, and PK.i am doing some trips in November at Whitney so Ill be on them. I prefur PK because I have a place there. Do not forget Mike Acosta. He seems to be able to catch when others are having problems.

I think PK gives you a better shot at a large striper but if fish for the table is the goal... I'd pick whitney over pk. Using live bait at Whitney almost always produces good numbers of 5-10lb stripers.

Right now the Sand Bass fishing at PK is great. What will it be like in December? Who knows? The Striper fishing at PK has not been so good here latley.

Whitney has bigger and more stripers in it now. Most guides fishing Whitney in December will be using lures. The fish bite them well this time of year so freeze your ars off catching bait. You miss lots of sleep catching bait in the winter also.
