CONTINUED RANT OF THE NO WAKE ZONE!!!!!!
All day there was Texas Game Wardens on jet skis patroling the twin coves marina area. They were doing safty stops .Funny thing,I saw several boats breaking the no wake Law when the Game Wardens were almost next to them and they didn't stop them to give them a warning or ticket. But thats not really what I am pissed about.Around 8:30 Pm,THE TWO GAME WARDENS ON JET SKIS WENT THREW THE NO WAKE ZONE AT FULL SPEED(AROUND 50-60 MPH)I HEARD ONE OF THEM SAY TO THE OTHER GAME WARDEN "HOW FAST DO YOU THINK I WAS GOING ?"THE OTHER ONE SAID AROUND 50-60 MPH.THE OTHER GAME WARDEN SAID YOU CAN GET A TICKET FOR GOING THAT FAST IN A NO WAKE ZONE.
I AM SO PISSED OFF THAT TWO TEXAS GAME WARDENS WOULD RECKLESSLY AND BLANTLY BREAK THE NO WAKE ZONE LAW.THEY JUST WANTED TO SEE HOW FAST THERE JET SKIS WOULD GO.THEY WERE NOT ON A BOAT CHASES OR OFFICAIL BUSNESS.MATTER OF FACT ,THEY LOADRED UP THE JET SKIS AT THE BOAT RAMP RIGHT AFTER THEY THEMSELFS BROKE THE LAW.I SHOULD REPORT THEM TO THE PROPER ATHORITIES. END OF RANT

Hear, hear!

I been pulled over traveling through a no wake zone - I think - because I was idling! Mean while, we got cruisers throwing so many wakes it is all I can do to keep the boats separated! Seems like common sense would have lead them to a different boat.

Update!
I called around to see what policing authority was out on the lake.I thought it was Texas Game wardens.I was wrong. It was flowermound police out on jet skis.I called the supervising officer of thoses police offercers on jet ski.I told him what happened and he said they were way out of line and he will give them a good scare and a verry strong verbal warning.I agreed to that.I could have filed a formal report but I didn't think that was right.I have myself personaly broke the law (speeding)on the highway. And the cops were "speeding" on the water. If I was them I would want .So that's what I did----gave them a break

Firefly,
Atleast you followed up and acknowledge the error of quick judgment and ffound a favorable medium in warning.
Reminds me of sort about this little personal Side story.. I had a nurse that came out on a home introduction to some serious medication I had to take for aperiod of time once but it was evident she knew nothing about using the new fangled "pen" multiple use syringe.
I had already studied up on it having contacted the pharmicudical company weeks a head of time. I wasnt billed the $300 for the call and I made it clear "I did not want her reprimanded" but "given the proper training".
You just dont through away health care workers.
