Are they going under or just coming out with some new stuff? I see them on sell a lot lately and on clearance.

They are coming out with new models because the graphite pattern they had on their old blanks were prone to breaking.

Since they have such a great warranty, they were losing a lot of money having to replace them all the time.

It's a graphite/carrot nano technology.

The graphite is laid out like the fiber pattern of a carrot, thus the name.

seems like a nano turd from what I have heard on here. Anytime I go to cabelas thay have a barrel full of them(in half) I guess its good they have a great warranty

yeah, the pattern didn't work out too well at first. That's why you don't see many on the shelves. They reworked the blanks and are bringing them out with the new models here real soon.

Cabelas has the old model on clearance now for over 50% off I think

Before I switched to all G.Loomis I had 6 Carrot Stix and never had a problem with any of them. I wonder if it was a problem they had in one of their batches.

I have heard a rumor too about e21 dumping the fishing line. I hope not, but it don't look too promising. I have a cranking model that has given me no problems.

I sent one in to be replaced about 6 weeks back, replacement never showed up. I called them yesterday and they said they were behind on warrenty replacements.

I asked if they were getting out of the rod business and I was told no the new models were not in yet from China or something to that effect.
