Heading to Richland chambers to set jug this weekend any help would be greatly appreciated. Never been there catfishing before only for a couple bass tournaments thanks ahead of time.

Put them in the timber. I am not a RC expert but when i have gone that is where I found them.

After this rain keep an eye out for any creeks that have any running water. Try up in the creeks or out in the open where the water is entering the main part of the lake. Not sure how much rain they had down there, maybe someone will chime in with some run off info. If no rain then stumps and flats. Also, not sure why, but I have caught some really nice blues out of RC on cut up carp. Had better luck with carp there than at other lakes. And of course shad is a must. If there is any running water get your rod and reel out as well.

The couple times we have run jugs there, we sat them on the humps off Pelican Island (north side) I believe. We did pretty well there.

I agree work the timber. Only 3/4 of the lakes is timber though.

That narrows it down a bit. I'll second those humps around Pelican Island. The area around the rail road bridge up the Richland arm should be holding a fish or two as well.

I have only fished RC once, so my help would be based off of a one time deal. I worked the Richland arm of the lake. We were in front of Midway Landing. Work the area between Midway and the pump station directly north of there.

Thanks for all the info caught over 100 total from Friday night to Saturday night set some jugs by pelican island humps did very well had some on a shallow point straight across from oak cove marina and did well also had some in Timber by hickey island and prolly did the best there.I set all my jugs in between 15 and 25 feet. I greatly appreciate all the info.
