Prayers sent, I know he must be bummed about that. As far as the tournaments go "where there's a will, there IS a way". I always look to Clay Dyer when I feel like I am having a tough time. That guy is simply amazing and awe inspiring when it comes to making things happen!

was it an injury to the scaffoid? (sp?) Yes, it was the scaphoid bone. Thanks guys for the Prayers. He is out and back home. Anesthesia should start wearing off and the pain set in to some degree. Now, we have to have recovery. The main problem for missing the tournament season would be if he didn't get light duty. The guys at the station would have taken care of him. Brotherhood at it finest. This would have made it difficult to ask for swaps and trades. I think with the approval of Light Duty, he will be able to fish.

Now, we have to have recovery. Glad to hear the surgery went well Mr. Hodge. Prayers continue for his healing and recovery. I injured my scaphoid pretty badly years ago in a riding accident, its such a TINY bone, yet critical to allow the hand's/wrist's functions. Tell him to take it slow and easy on the recovery, my understanding was that its VERY easy to re-injure due to the bones location.
