bddd, I think you just need to let it go...

I don't see any difference between posting fish you can catch at a private lake that others can't fish and what Rudy did. He has permission to fish; you don't. So what?

Y'all post a bunch of spots that are just too far away for me to fish at; should I be angry at that, or happy that you guys are doing well? Just consider these ideas. In time, with a bit more maturity, you will have a different perspective on things and this kind of stuff just won't matter.

Have fun with your fishing!

Wow! talk about a tempest in a teapot! All over a couple of lousy fish! So, by BDDD's way of thinking, i guess i am the only person on planet earth with the wherewithall to actually think up the lame idea to go and ask permission to go ask, when i see a fence or a sign. The worst that could happen when you ask is they say "no". You go without asking, you might end up in jail, or shot. So I ask. BUT by BDDD's logic, NO ONE ELSE ON THIS FORUM IS CAPABLE OF OR ALLOWED TO ASK FOR PERMISSION! WOW!

Sorry Fishbonz, Richie, HereFishee, and others, the conventional wisdom on this thread now is that you guys are NOT intelligent enough to go ask an owner! Not my logic, but rather BDDD's. And I guess he hasn't figured out how to ask either.

You ask me for directions, i am gonna give em. The rest is up to you.

if it was so terrible to go ask, I wouldn't know all the wonderful stock tank owners in Dallas,Ellis, Kaufman, Hill,Denton, Rockwall and Hunt counties that i DO know. It would be my loss! If it was so terrible to ask, i wouldn't have access to so many literally hundreds of gravel pits that are choked with quality fish!

Ask and you may get lucky, don't ask, you could wind up dead!

I am talking a cross between Rocket Science and Quantum Physics here.

Get your pocket protectors on and power up those calculators!

Rudy

WOW!!! When I asked if there were no fishing signs posted I NEVER expected it to go this way. I just remembered them from growing up down there and was curious if they were still there or not. BDDD went off on a tangent. I would have never brought it up if I thought we couldn't be adults in here. Sorry for giving someone ammo to misfire! I never meant any harm or foul towards you Rudy or your buds fishing down there.

pssst "thehead", I know of several "legal" bank fishing spots too, but now i guess i better not give out directions. SOMEONE will take it the wrong way and find fault with me!

Let's see, so far this year, I have become Satan's adopted step son because i catch sandies on spawning runs, can trick LMB's off spawn beds, can catch and did catch bull bluegills on full moons in the summer, and also because i had what i thought was commmon sense and decency by asking permission to fish restricted areas, oh and almost forgot- - - I catch crappies in creeks in SHALLOW water in the dead of winter! Surely the eternal fires of Gehenna await me!

Heck, one guy posted and said that i would be dead by age 60 because i ate a few fish from a couple of urban lakes! So get your licks in now, cause at age 56, I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW THAT WHETHER I LIKE IT OR NOT, I AM ON MY FAREWELL "DEATH" TOUR!

After all that, the Mayan Armageddon that awaits in 2012 would be slightly more than a walk in the park for me!

And finally, PROPS TO THE 2010 WORLD BASEBALL CHAMPS, THE SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS, THE BEST PITCHING STAFF IN THE PLAYOFFS, AND MAYBE ONE OF THE BEST PLAYOFF PITCHING STAFFS OF ALL TIME!

DON'T THINK SO: REVIEW THE LIST OF VICTIMS: THE POWERFUL ATLANTA BRAVES, A GOOD HITTING TEAM; THE BEST HITTING POWER TEAM IN THE NATIONAL LEAGUE: ROY HALLADAY-BEATEN, ROY OSWALT-BEATEN, COLE HAMMELS-BEATEN. RYAN HOWARD-VIRTUALLY HITLESS AND IMPOTENT FOR THE SERIES, JASON WERTH- COUPLE OF BIG HITS BUT HE COULDN'T CARRY THE TEAM BY HIMSELF;

FINALLY, THE RANGERS: THE BEST HITTING TEAM IN THE MAJORS; THE MIDDLE OF THE LINEUP THAT INCLUDES HAMILTON, GUERRERO, CRUZ, ET AL, TO A COMBINED 7 FOR 54 FOR THE SERIES.

WHAT MAKES BASEBALL THE GREATEST OF THEM ALL: ADAGES ARE BASED IN TRUTH. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TOLD THAT PITCHING ALWAYS TRUMPS HITTING: WORLD SERIES 2010, THE DEFENSE RESTS!

Cheers,
Rudy
