I'm looking at ordering a set of ten "Catfish Killer" flagging juglines on the net. A fisherman on Lake Conroe makes and sells them, and I have heard that they are well made and work very well. Also heard that Strike King has introduced a new jugline to the market. Any of you avid catfishers have any advice to this juglining rookie as to what to buy and what to avoid? Your help is much appreciated. Boz

Killer jugs are know being sold by myself on Mudcat1.com and the Jugliners of Texas. If you are close you can come to Lochness Marina on Lake Conroe and see the juglines in action this weekend, fri- sunday. Killer, Mudcat and Myself will be there to answer all your questions.

I watched a local fishing show from Texarkana yesterday and they did a show at Lake Fork with a guide named "Gator". Gator used some jugs that worked pretty good. They're flat and round ,red and yellow. You put them in yellow side up and when you see the red side you're suppose to have a fish on. You wrap the line around the jug as you're bringing in the fish. The website is www.jugsbybert.com nashflash

nash, they have to be all white in Texas unless your commercial fishing, then they have to be orange.

j.steve , that goes to show you how much I know about jug fishing! I've never fished with jugs before and now that you taught me something I'm glad I didn't order me a dozen or so of the red and yellow ones! Thanks , nashflash
