the fishing sure has been decent but this last week and the cloudy windy days have been stellar. starting with last wed the fog was as thick as it gets 30-50 ft visibility til after 11am. took 30 minutes to get to the fish then i would listen for birds and somehow find em  here's some pics...   friday was unreal with schooling all over the flats in huge flocks of gulls working em. fantastic fall fishing!  fri pm,sat am and sun am all topwater all alone...love it! best of the week 30 plus incher...    all these fish came on those cocaMOE,smack soft baits from moe's tackle or surface plugs. book a trip with us and i will get you a cabin for no extra charge. the striper fishing will only get better and better the next 45-60 days...let's go get some!!!

Nice haul Chris. Looks like I was 2 weeks early this fall, just like last fall  . My timing sux! I'm gonna try to redeem myself around Thanksgiving if I can get the time off.

thanks guys...really though the fog was wild! I was on RC one time and slowly making my way back by the Dam. Just could not see anything and once I got there heard splashing then started to blind cast where I thought I had heard and was catching nothing but big Hybrids it was a blast and really crazy not being able to see anything at all.

That fog was wild. Thank god for GPS, now we just need to get radar so we can see other boats.

thanks brian but i use CPS "chris positioning system". my flasher doesn't have the gps option  days like that i consider getting one let me tell you!

Great catch! That fog sucks. My gps has saved my butt in big T fog more than once.

Where's a good place to launch from in a jon boat, its got gas motor and depth finder so I'm able to go a couple miles each way? Looking to get lucky and catch some stripers, any info would be great!! baits? up river or near dam? NEED HELP!!!!!!
