My brother and our sons are going on our annual Spring Break Catfishing trip next week. For the first time we will be going to Lake Limestone and Running Branch Marina specifically.
If anyone can give me some sort of general idea of what the pattern is at Lake Limeston in mid march I would really appreciate it.
We are looking at running some jugs and trotlines and maybe rr for cats and maybe some crappie.
Any preferences on bait of choice or anything that would help make our trip productive would make some kids really happy. If you are in that area next week look us up. Cold drinks will be on me.
Thanks again

DUDE! This is the BEST place to go for crappie this time of year!!! dont even bother getting on the lake. Get some minnows from the front office and you can fish right from shore and limit out everyday! I did last year. It was a really good experiance. the atmosphere is cool and the crappie fishing is GREAT!

Can you even get a boat in and out of Running Branch right now? You could not for a while there.
