took a friend to grapevine saturday night. We ended up with 12 keepers..and 1 that went 16lbs...

good lord - that must be from a boat? this is live or cut perch...shad? come on - give up the pics, I have nearly caught a cat there that was much bigger than a keeper, let me get jealous

Where'd you pick him up? I want to try cat's from a boat for the first time. Not sure where to go on the Vine.

We caught a couple of 7 to 8lbers on LL this weekend. The fishing was pretty slow.

unfortunately that fish didnt make it. When we got him in the boat it looked like he had been hung on a trotline/snagline for a while. he had a huge hook in his eye, one in his tail, and one hanging off teh bottom of his belly. he also swalled our 6/0 khale. He was bleeding really bad thru the gills/mouth so we went ahead and kept him

I caught a 17# flat head on a brush pile tue.at the vine while crappie fishing,caught on a 1/8oz crappie jig and 6lb dia. line,took about 20 min to get him in the boat but it was a blast.
