I don't think I've ever seen anything posted on here about catching hybrids from Lake Conroe. TPWD stocks them regularly, so I know someone has to fish for them. Maybe the info is kept top secret?

I fish Conroe regularly for hybrids but just dont post much about it.Yesterday was decent from 9am till 1pm with quality hybrids to 7lb on the main lake side of the island in 17-25' on 1oz-1 1/2oz silver or white slabs.Water temp 74.8 and very windy and white caps made it rough so decided to leave at 1pm.Good Luck!

Nice report BH. Never fished Conroe. I have a couple of clients down there I may have to try it with.

I was around the south and west side of that island yesterday about 11 am and never even marked fish, didn't look at the mainlake side as a boat was working there and it was getting so windy the wife was getting soaked with spray! Also didn't mark anything over around the lighthouse either, but didn't spend much time looking. Also, thanks for the link Mo.
