HA HA HA no... that is a gortex pants and jacket I had on over my clothes. It keeps the wind from freezing you to death. I also had a life jacket on under that.

The weekend after that I caught a 33lb. Last wekeend I had a 29. This year has been the year of the big fish. Seems everybody is hooking up with biguns. Maybe it has something to do with the lake being 10' low. Less areas for fish to roam. Who knows, but people are taking hogs out of shallow water, deep, and everything in between.

If you want to see some big fish, don't forget the we are holding a tournament on Lavon, March 11th. We are now the North Texas Chapter of ACATS. Registration fee with your ACATS membeship is $60. You can pre-register or that morning between 6 - 7AM at CT's convience store off 78. The weign in line closes at 3PM at East Fork Marina. We have lined up so really good good sponsers, and paying 1 out 5 entrees. Plus Plano Marine is donating $200 towards big fish jackpot. For the people that don't win cash, we are giving out reels, bee ready rod holders, guided trips, hats, Uncle Bucks catfish batter, and anything else we can get donated. We want and try to have everybody take home something.

We'll try and make a post about it later too.

Rules and membership application can be found at.

Yes it did. A friend from work was changing the PH ballance of the water and his bait clicker started screeming. Being the nice guy I am, I set the hook for him, and reeled it in.
