On 10/16 I sent a transducer to Humminbird for an exchange. They received the transducer on 10/19 and today I received the exchange transducer. Six days including a weekend. That is dang good service in my book.

I'm glad to hear that HB took care of your problem in quick order and that you are pleased with their service. I have been very pleased with my HB798SI since I purchased it.

Humminbirds C/S is super....(i.e) if you buy a new unit it comes with a transome transducer. If you want a trolling motor transducer you can send in your transome transducer and they will simply exchange it.

I purchased an 1197, after several recommendations I installed a high speed transducer on transom and raised my side imaging transducer up about 3 inches (aluminum boat). My high speed failed me weekend of 10/16, called monday (th 18th) and recieved replacement transducer on wednesday! Man they take care of their customers.
