Hey all-
I just moved to Denton Texas and I am looking for a place to purchase Mercury Optimax oil. Any suggestions? Also, what is recommended for winterizing here? I am from Vermont where we have to put the boat into heated storage due to below 0 temperatures. What can I expect this winter? Thanks for the help.

Fish all winter..........

The water, believe it or not, stays soft ALL WINTER LONG.

When it gets cold in December find Squaw Creek.

no need in winterizing your outboard, just fill your tank up, add stabil, run it for a little and then when you pull your boat outa the water just tilt the motor all the way down and let all the water drain out from the lower unit. then its good to go. or sit i guess

for closeness...Lake park marine on 35E & FM 407 price is around $30 a gallon
for cheaper prices, contact rockwall marine and I believe they do it for $20.00 a gallon.

Cabela's has Opti oil? I checked there, must have missed it. I'll definitely check Rockwall Marine if it's $20...I pay $35 in Vermont. Thanks so much for the help guys. Fishing all winter, not on ice? PRICELESS!!! Here by myself so if anyone wants to go with me, plenty of room on my Lowe!
