I want the fc4 lcs (not deluxe). I have to go back to BPS to pick up the stuff I just returned (pump & fins). I am really pumped about the fc4. I think I will love it!

Got the fins but no pump-they sold the last one on Friday. Dammit! Oh, well, I can wait. Once I get everything together, it'll be FISH ON!

If it's a manual pump, both wally world and big lots carry these at very low prices and they are returnable at no cost. If you're paying roundtrip postage on exchanges at BPS, that will run up costs quickly. The foam insert seats tend to compress on the fc4 or ODC 420 and become uncomfortable as well as being bulky. Some guys on the fishing forum have sawed off the legs on plastic patio chairs and installed them in the seat position to help with this.
Hope this helps.

What kind of patio chair? After reading reviews on the fc4 some people don't like it because there is no crotch strap. Anyone have issues with this?

See if this link works: http://www.bigfishtackle.com/forum/Float_Tube_Fishing_C66/Float_Tubing_General_F81/gforum.cgi?do=post_attachment;postatt_id=59138 Some also use plexiglass to stiffen up the foam seat and add support. Reason for a strap if you are sliding forward out of the seat. Probably means tilt of back not adjusted correctly. P.

Yes, they take their tubes and pontoons seriously on that forum. OTOH, you have something with all the bells and whistles of a small boat except motor speed at 5% of the cost. For those that want to see the picture, you can cut and paste the link to your browser and it seems to come up ok. Wow, you might as well get a small boat lol What kind of patio chair? Those guys over on Big Fish forum are masters with PVC. Their tubes are fully loaded!
The difference between winners and losers: Winners blame themselves for their failures and strive to get better. Losers blame everybody else and give up.

Yes, they have an answer to that carrying issue also, wheels. Some are quite clever, lightweight and can be stored on board. I have a flip up/down balloon wheel myself that tucks neatly behind my pontoon seat in the up position and down for rolling in under 10 seconds, either way. Porta
