When I bought my Humminbird 898si, there was a brochure in the box from Lakemaster talking about their GPS maps. After further investigation, I found out they only produce a few maps and there all for northern states. Well, that's great if you fish in the great state of Minnesota but what about us Southern Boys? I wrote Lakemaster a quick e-mail and they actually responded. They said they will be coming out with a Texas/Oklahoma card. They didn't say when but I am glad to know it will eventually happen.

If you live outside of Texas, drop them a line about adding your state to their list!

Be safe,

awesome! There needs to be some competition in the 'bird mapping area! without competition, the maps slowly degenerate while the cost remains the same.

Amen Ronnie. I'm thinking there has to be a viable competitor for Navionics.
