Sounds Like MRSA. Bad stuff! Take all your antibiotics until gone, frequent handwashing is a must. We all have Staph but certain strains dont respond well to typical antibiotics. A simple scratch on the skin can become life threatening if a certain strain of staph gets in the wound. These strains of Staph used to be only aquired in hospitals and nursing homes but have gone mainstream due to people not taking entire dosing of antibiotics(dont just take em till ya feel better) take em till they are gone. Otherwise the bacteria becomes resistant to them...good luck man! God Bless!

Gary that is just what i plan to do,and that is why i think im still in here is to try and kill it before the y let me out,of course they are not telling me that but i keep getting different views of when i may go home and how many times a day i will have to take an iv of antibiotics,they have installed two picc lines for iv/blood checking.If and when i can get the pictures posted people will understand why this is so bad/thats why im writing about it,also there are some things we can do out in the field to help keep this problem under control,i would truly hate to see a young kid with this problem as it is not a pretty site.the pain does not bother me,but i would hate to see one of my grandbabies having to deal with a daily open wound and scraping and repacking with gauze.....

you are so very right, stan. we had a mild case of staph on our baby boy a couple months ago(9 months old). 10 days of antibiotics, and steroid cream... it was scary. Thats when mom intervened and gave us the hibiclens. It cleared it up, and the other stuff just kinda knocked it down. They told us to throw away any clothes or bed linens that were possibly touched by the staph. We still have you in our prayers, bud.
