I think there would be considerable interest in this about the grass carp situation on Lake Austin. I propose that we have a "demonstration of sorts" .. like in last month's BassMasters. A trail of trucks with boats headed towards Lake Austin .... heck, this is the capitol city, let's drive down Congress to get there !
This could take a while to get the word out, so let's shoot for the weekend of Saturday July 24. That gives me 5 weeks to get the word out. How many of you are interested ? ...

Just an idea, create a website and organize through the site, it could be used to organize rallies everytime a lake is threatened with poisening or carp, that was fishermen from different areas could help on several lakes, you go to my rally on lake austin and I'll go to yours on joe pool, that sort of thing.

This is very serious folks!!! We need to think about joining forces. The banning of bowfishing on Town Lake, coupled with the introduction of the grass carp could have long term negative effects!!
If interested, email me at jumper@bowfishusa.com
