My girlfriend and I fish together frequently, and fished a few TBC tournaments. She frequently catches more than me. Think its because she will stick with what I tie on (we are working on her knots this winter) while I keep changing. I have to say, first time I took her out, she hung a small bass, swung him aboard, grabbed hold of him and took spinner out, I said right then....."Now thats a keeper"!

My wife is a good stick. We fish couple tournaments and we have been angler of team 2 in the last 4 and second the other two. She has a 9.77 for a pb and is patient with a worm. When the last kid goes off to college we will fish more team stuff.
Retirement best job ever.

I am also one of the lucky ones, my wife Kay has been fishing with me every since we dated. Our second date was a Friday evening fishin on Lake Palestine. At that time, I never thought that she would be deadly with a Texas Rigged worm. We have fished tournaments since ninety six, on the Couples circuits, even against some of the Men's circuits. We have won several times and finished in the money most of the time. Even won a Angler of the Year. She usually has the Kicker in our bag. When its time to buy a new boat, she is in there checking them out also. We will be on Rayburn also for the Cast championship. Good luck to all, and when you take that someone special out, be understanding, patience helps, fish to their strengths. And if they want that special color bait that you think won't catch a thing, let em get it.

My wife and I really enjoy fishing tournaments together, we've fished a bunch of workingmans tournaments, a few of Scott Gordons tournaments, and a few with CAST as well. If all goes well we're planning on fishing CAST north next year.

The old hag and I started fishing CAST tournies 6 years ago, she really enjoys it as do I. As far as calling her a hag, she calls me a mule.

How many of you fish with your spouse?
How many of you fish tournaments with your spouse?
Took the wife out today and she flat wore me out, caught some really nice fish in areas I wasn't even getting bit. I'm proud of her, and it got me to thinking about inviting her a little more often!! fished ray hubbard last weekend with the wife in the RHBC open tourney. She caught one of our 2.5# fish (and you yourself know how hard that can be... LOL!), and she wore me out on numbers... she probably caught 20 bass... I caught about 5. LOL! I think it's due to the fact that they dont get stuck in certain technique only presentations... rather, they experiment and fan cast stuff we normally wouldnt. I guess the fish havent seen "thier" tricks and fall prey to them. I had her a 7" powerworm, with 10" leader and swivel, and a splitshot above the swivel... she was swimming that worm over/through grass clumps... LOL!

My girlfriend likes to fish with me, but she doesn't like getting up at 4am to get to the lake lol. She just recently asked me, "Will you let me fish a tournament with you sometime?" Of course baby

My wife only gets 2 weekends off a year and she always makes sure to take one weekend during my Birthday month so we can fish my club tourney together. It's by far my favorite day on the lake.

I would LOVE to get my wife to fish with me. She's been a couple times, but not fished the entire time. Im hoping I can get her "hooked" I love spending time on the water with her, and would really enjoy tournament fishing with her. (plus it would be MUCH easier to convince her of our "need" for a boat)

We don't do tourneys, but my wife fishes with me all the time.
And usually catches more fish than from the back of the boat.
She's good at reading that Cuda 128! When she says, "Here we go!" The whites are rolling!
Now I just gotta find me a five gallon bucket with a toilet seat.

My wife lets me fish with her since she is the one that bought and owns the boat. She is pretty cool though, I get to use it when ever I want as long as she has first option to go with me or pass. We fish a lot of couples tournaments together and will be on Rayburn next week also.

My wife wants to fish tournaments and if I get comfortable keeping fish alive in my boat we may try it. She has outfished me several times, she cant stand it when I out fish her she is very competitive and hates to lose even to me. If anyone is going to out fish me, I am glad it is you! I just can not let it happen to many times... I can not wait to get back out to Fork this weekend!
