I'd like to use some fresh cut shad to fish the river that feeds Caddo, but going all the way to the spillway at Lake of the Pines to throw my cast net eats into a lot of fishing time.
There has to be somewhere to get fresh shad around Waskom. Any info would be appreciated.

Bob, If your talkin bout Cypress Bayou, You can catch the shad with a castnet wherever you're fishing. Samething below the dam at Caddo where it runs into 12 Mile Bayou.

I'm talking about Cypress Bayou so I guess I'll just throw my net wherever I'm at and hope for the best. Worth a shot. Thanks for the info.
