 OH Ivie Hammered?

How hammered has Ivie been lately? I know that Bass Champs was there a couple of weeks ago. Any large tournaments lately?

I have heard from several that the fishing is way slow right now, so here is what I am going to do. I am going to recruit a couple of witch doctors and this voo doo chick that killed a chicken in my dorm room when we were at college together. Surely between the three of them I'll be able to catch something!

i was there this weekend...couple of club tournaments out of concho...a bit bigger one of some sort out of elm creek...i didnt talk to the guys at elm creek but heard the two club tournaments only took 5-6 lbs to win. It was plenty tough for me too...caught a few dinks, the good fish are eluding me for the moment...lots of bait gathering in the creeks tho...its coming, just gonna be a bit thats all.

Bass tourney in town this weekend, so thinking of heading to Ivie. Only been there once... There used to be a ramp just to the east of the dam. But that was several years ago and don't know if it can be used when the lake is low.

Kennedy Park (Elm Creek Village) is the closest good ramp to the dam.

Just stay in Angelo and come fish the tournament.

Get ready, Im sure OH Ivie will have huge crowds this year, especially with all that is going on at Falcon. This is going to be good for Choke Canyon locals cause it will thin out the crowds down here.
