Whats up crappie guys?

Well afer reading some posts regarding the crappie fishing on LL I decided to give it a try. I was really wanting some for dinner. This was my first attempt at crappie fishing as I bass fish and it showed. I fished all of the spots that I have read about and ended the day with three fish. Two shors and one about 1.5lbs. Tried jigs and minnows. Might try it again but I think its easier to bribe some friends just to give me a few next time.

I didn't do too good out there yesterday afternoon either fishing timber mostly. Caught a few here and there trolling small crankbaits and a few in the timber around 10-15ft. It might have been you I talked to at the Little Elm ramp at dark. Did you have a Triton?

Eric I did fish the 720 bridge and I do have a triton. But I only ran into one gent that was fishing the bridge. Don't know if that was you but it was nice talking to the guy. Thinking about trying it again next week.
