If you were a Texas Resident and mexico license holder, and were taking someone fishing on Amistad that is from New mexico. If only fishing on the mexico side would the guy from New mexico need a Texas license on top of a mexico license?

I would assume you would need pretty solid evidence that you only fished the Mexican side if you are greeted by TPW on your way back. In case nobody answers, stop by their office on your way to the lake. Good luck!

Yes,

But if you want to be sure stop by the office in Del Rio and ask, they will know.

I think if you are in Texas waters with fishing equipment in the boat, you need to have a TX license.

Do you need a Mexico lience if not fishing the Mexico side? If not then I would assume you would only need a Mexico License if only fishing on that side. But I always assume a lot!

Drive over and launch in Mexico and you will not need a Texas license. Launch in Texas you better have a Texas license.

your playing with fire, a hot fire at that, without a TX license in that water. but you know, only 65,000+ acres of water I doubt TPW ever have a reason to patrol there.

Im kidding. Id get one is my advice.

Think I would send an email to TPW and ask them.
