You think JD got waked! My boat is only 17ft. It's name across the back of it: "NOT GUILTY" Yeah right!!!
JD,
That fishing was a bit rough for me, been a while since I was skunked that bad by the stripers. Did snag a couple small sandies and some green looking trash like fish. It was 19 1/4 inches long and my weight hook wasn't right tho cause it showed 5 lbs and I don't believe it was that much. Maybe 2 to 3 1/2 lbs. ???

I'LL BE BAHK!!! grin

Here's some pics and yes I kno y'all I wasn't holding right for a good pic! LOL smile

OMG....that house big ole house boat threw about a 3foot wake and rocked even my boat...that was pretty close...at one point I saw him coming right at me and was wondering if he even knew I was there...
JC which boat were you in ?

I am right now waiting out one of the hardest rain thunder storms I have seen in a long time.
Rain coming down so hard I can't see 5 feet in front of the boat slip.lightning so load it's hurting my poor lil ears...sure hope it goes on by soon.

We got close to limits everyday this weekend but it was a little tougher bite than earlier in the week..

We were in the old green Cajun CC, James Allen's old tub. You can probably smell it before you can see it cool

We got close to limits all 3-day weekend working from Willis to Mill Creek. Nothing easy but great weather for chasing them down.

Shadetree,
It was tough for us as well using only lures. We caught more of them trash fish than we did stripers but they were pretty good size trash fish. Too bad that wasn't what we were after. Saw bait guys catching but not fast & furious for sure. Humbled again! Sure couldn't beat the weather though!

yep went out and fished Texoma and saw a lot of guys running and gunning and looking for fish. we didn't do very well at all yesterday after the storm.

JD, we saw you running up and down the lake around the islands, did you ever get on them?

JSIG,
It was good to just be on the water! but only 4 fish & the biggest was that bass!!! the 2 SB & 1 striper were all to little for me to bother cleaning.

JD,
I just realized I didn't type everything I was thinking when I posted them pics!
It was good to talk to & see ya out there also. Hope to see ya again, soon! Getting up at 4am isn't much fun, even for stripers with my schedule!!!
