Have a golf tournament tomorrow. As soon as they get teed off I'm heading for Falcon. Going to pick up my buddy at Palestine tomorrow and head down on Sunday. Other than 'stay out of Mexico' and large soft plastics in the trees, does any one have some good tips? Went there a couple of times this spring, so I have somewhat of a clue. GPS coordinates are acceptible!  If anyone else is going down there this week, we will be staying at Oso Blanco and have Kansas #'s on the Triton. Say hi. Thanks for any information in advance. Just be sure you have all the safety gear onboard. Life jackets, fire extinguishers, boat registration, sound emitting device/horn working, fishing license, throwable pfd.... You will get checked with that many LEO's on the water. Hope you get a PB.

OH....and I would be throwing a crankbait. Absolutely whacked 'em on a CB last year on September and November trips with the biggest being a 10-4. Be prepared to lose a few.....but I do not think those fish see a lot of CB in the bush for obvious reasons.

Always look at tackleandrods report, if nothing else just for the comic relief. Falconer, have been checking out your reports and posts for the last few weeks...Thanks. Chasinbass, will give the cranks a try. All required gear has been checked, will stop at Brannans for the license and whatever else the twins talk me into. Don't plan on packing on the boat. If we would happen to get stopped, it would be just something else they would take from us. Really don't think the 38 would be much help against the AK's.

Ring fry on transplants computer. Fished Fork yesterday for about 3 hours. Caught 10 with 6 in the slot on a spook. Lost the biggest fish I've seen on a Ledgebuster spinner bait. Came to the boat once then decided to go the other way. Couldn't stop her. aarrggghhh!!!!
