Margarita Joe and I have been chasing the kittys on LL over the last couple of weeks. Jugs near the main lake points and gravel pits. Rod and real with punch bait and shad near rocky coves. Have caught several 1 to 2 pounders. Anyone had any luck with larger kittys this time of year on LL?

I have rough luck in the summer trying to catch any good sized blues and have converted back to crappie since they are easier to find at the moment. July and August are just tough months for cats for me and I usually don't do any good at all until the water cools back down a bit in September. Is anyone catching any cats at LL these past few weeks?

1dad next time we are on the lake the sametime hollar at me I will show you some spots for some kitties. My freezer is full of AP still so I dont need any but can find them with ease on LL. My next outing will be on Sunday. Or better yet email me and I will give you a heads up on some spots I know well. Your not going to get much action on the big guys in the heat of the day but if you hit it early and late you will succeed.

the cut to pier 121 and just south and on the ledge is pretty good .Batterys are dead on gps or I would give you exact cords.come out to main lake then south right to the ledge anchor up.it goes shallow and deep real quick in the right place.Good luck.

Caught a 16lb blue cat saturday on the east side of the lake dallas spillway. In 20ft of water. I was jigging a white slab for sandies, but i have caught several good cats over there.

Danny, I appreciate your offer and everyone's suggestions to track down those kittys. I may be out Saturday evening and Sunday as well. Will you be on the water either of those evenings?
