I am thinking of hosting a fairly large pay out, open tourney on Texhoma this fall sometime in late Nov. let me know you're thoughts on it. I know a lot of guys deer hunt as i do as well. But most trails are winding down and I still like to fish some and with the lack of bait it should be a good one.

I was there 2 weeks ago and there was not a lack of bait. Shad were everywhere. I had to make sure that I wasn't at Grapevine.

Where are you planning on launch?
What is the format?

I'm srry i was informed that there was no bait and all the guides were shipping it in. I was thinking of a team format, around a $150.00 ENTRY, pay out like 1 in 6 and get with all my sponsors to try to get a guaranteed $10,000.00 or more if i can for first and try to schedule the payout where it is still good money 1st - 10th. Make it a two day event

The stripers are as thin as belts, I don't know why more haven't died off.
There is a lack of some type of forage bait for stripers on Texoma.
I caught a 20 inch striper and I doubt it weighed more than 2 lbs.
I would do a be in for a 2 day Tournament in November or December on Texoma

Yes, there is an "h" in Texhoma - if you are talking about the town. Just not a lot of water around there.

are you thinking about a 1 or 2 day event? We definately are in need of fall tourneys on texoma. If you do a 1 day event, will it be a sat or sunday event?
