I had the chance to fish with the panfish master -aka- banker-allways fishing again today on the Guadalupe this morning, I was a beautiful morning to be out enjoying nature and we did just that.

I caught a couple of nice size eater channel catfish and missed the hookset on a few more.

Banker as allways was hot and heavy on the rios, pictures to follow...

They are very good eating. I have had em fried, baked, and grilled. Have em with some fresh cut potatos, green beans, hush puppies, and oh yes a cold shiner bock.

Welcome "ejm" to the TFF. Placid is a very good lake but it sure has a mind of it's own. Some days it can be lights out and then others you can't buy a bite. It is however one of my favorite lakes to fish.
