For $3,500 you too can catch monster Yellow Fin Tuna. The fishermen on the video are pampered as can be ... fine wine and gourment edibles. Geez, I wished I didn't find this video ... now my 36hr semi-tuna trip is going to seem like a fishing trip to the neighborhood pond.

after paying for a trip like that. i would have to give up fishing for a year, or give up beer drinking. i like both.

Don't feel too bad. Your 36hr trip costs about a 1/10th of what that trips costs. . Which means, you can go on 10 of your 36hr trips or just one longrange trip out of Cali. I definately want to do one of those long range trips on the west coast one of these days. But right now, it just doesn't make much sense for me to do one of those. For what it costs to do a 10 day trip out of San Diego, I could go to the Panama Sportfishing Lodge and spend a week there catching 200lb YFT all day, Roosterfish, Cubera and Mullet Snapper, and all kinds of other exotic species. JMO
