Can anyone tell me how the drop in water level has affected the grass on TB? Is there still good beds or are they all high and dry? Any tips on areas? Thanks!

i live there and won a tournament on the 25th with 25lbs and they all came out of the grass on a jig.if you look in enough places you will find some deeper grass and then just hold on.
if i'm not fishing i'm thinking about fishing

Just bass,
Them three biguns you caught, where they relatively close to one another or spread out? What can you tell us about he area that each of the biguns where caught, like close to deep water, hardwoods next to grass, creek channel, grass points, drains.
Thanks

i caught all three fish in the 10-12 range in the grass.2 of the three came off of humps about 1/2 mile apart and the other came off of a creek swing with grass off the edge.two of them came on a 1oz jig and the other was on a 12"worm with a 1/2oz weight.the first one was at 7am the second was 1130 and the third was at 1oclock.i fished the sixmile and sandy creek area, the key was to find areas where there was an underwater grass point that came off the main mat.the one i caught off the creek swing is kinda out of the way place i like to fish and have caught numerous big fish off of.in housen there were alot of people in there which is not unusual but i do know that there was a seven and a couple 5's caught on spinnerbaits slow rolled on the deeper grass.i hope some of this helps.

I had heard that your wife caught those two eight pound fish during the tournament that you and she had won?

Fishing Toledo Bend when it is low can be both exciting as heck and very dangerous. Be careful! Are any of you guys fishing the BassChamps championship over there?

I was out there this morning and watched a team catch 3 that went about 3 lbs or better a piece. They all came on a crank bait, no where near grass. So there are fish out deeper it is the matter of finding them, which is the hard part.
