Me and a group of guys is wanting to go to a not so far lake to take a shot at some bigger Texas bass. We were going to OH Ivie but after Bass Champs championship I dont know if thats a good bet. We are from southern Oklahoma and looking to be there in about 4-5 hours or less. Any suggestions???????

Ever fish sardis or McGee creek? Sounds like it would be closer and both lakes you can catch large fish.

yeah I fish Sardis and McGee all the time looking to go somewhere different. I may just go to Fork its closer and my uncle has a lake site down there. I figured Amistat is like 8 hours from here in Ardmore, OK.
