 Galveston party boat or charter?

Heading to Galveston on October 20th, and would like to fish on Thursday the 21st. Would it be better to just try a party boat or would a charter service be better? Obviously party boats are going to be cheaper.

Charters are always better but you pay for it. Party boats are much cheaper and it doesn't sting as bad if the catch isn't great. I could not in good conscience tell you to go to Galveston Party Boats. Williams Party Boats next door to it would be my choice.
The only thing dumber than a fish is a fisherman.

Make sure you check their schedules. Sometimes they do shorter trips this time for year for bayfish. ALso, if you wait until friday, you can catch red snapper. The season is only for Fri-Sunday fishing.

A couple of things
First, Switch your day to Friday if you can so you can keep the Red Snapper that you catch. Second, if you are going on a party boat out of Galveston, go with Galveston Party Boats on the New Buccaneer. Bigger boat, better food and crew than other party boats in Galveston. Capt. Garrett is definitely the best Party Boat captain in Galveston.
