Hossman and I fished Roberts today. I lost two at the boat, they were small, Hossman boated two small bass on
cherry seed worms. Northeast wind 5 to 15 mph.
Water temp 75 to 79. Clearity 12 to 18".
I am convinced that you guys are right about Roberts. I'm going back to Fork where all the bass are.

Rudy, you love that lake; say it aint so! I'm going in the morning, right after this front. Should be a nice boat ride.

We had about the same luck. Tried topwaters early and nothing. Caught a 2 lb'r in 8'around trees on a T rig but nothing else came out of the area. Hit some roadbeds and up into creeks around Indian and used CB's, SB's, wacky's, T rigs, and not even a bump. Really didn't see any shad either which was surprising given this time of year.
We stayed until 1 pm and finally called it a day. Covered a lot of water with a variety of lures and depths and not much to show.

Give it a week! I think we'll start seeing some positive posts on here. IMO, RR is about two weeks behind other north texas lakes.

we do well at RR. Boated 12 on saturday on a variey of lures. the wacky worm rigged sinko in watermelon with red flake was the big producer.

I like RR quite a bit

I have mix feelings about this lake, you can catch lot smaller bass just little under 14". Its the big bite hard to get on Consistant Basis, one day you can catch several 4-8lbs, Next 3 trips only find smaller fish , I'm going to fork for awile also, and give rr some rest, I have fish this lake 2-4 times a week hard last 12 weeks, On that note they are moving little closer to the break off mouth of coves
